The design firm Megamode International was conceptualized and established in 1994 by interior stylist Monika Kamal and entrepreneur Sanjeev Kamal. Its mission is to provide luxurious custom made soft furnishings for the domestic market, the booming expat community, and corporations setting up their base in the economically liberalized India.

Through its brand Monika Kamal Collection (‘MKC’), Megamode provides exceptional customized furnishings that are forms of art by themselves. MKC delivers unique products created with the utmost exactness by our skilled and experienced designers and craftsmen.

MKC provides soft furnishing solutions to high-net-worth individuals across the globe, particularly in India, USA, Europe, Middle East and South Asia. In addition, MKC also caters to distinguished palaces, five star hotels & resorts. The team's expertise lies in customized soft furnishing projects with unified and distinct flow across the spaces. Leveraging the team's experience, MKC's work always reflects its clientele’s personality and taste.

MKC has also launched a soft furnishings pret line, designed and manufactured in house. It caters to the professionals that are looking for ready and affordable solutions. It exports products to leading homes and retail chains in USA as well as to boutique hotels & resorts in the USA, Europe, Asia Pacific and Caribbean.

MKC is now developing a sister home furnishings brand. 
Roles & Responsibilites
MKC is looking for a committed individual to take charge of the brand's communication and branded content:
  • Develop a brand identity in conjunction with customer personas
  • Brainstorm ideas, channels and opportunities for showcasing products and design concepts.
  • Write refined, persuasive copy that reflects and highlights the products’ quality.
  • Developing adverts or campaigns from the conceptual stage to completion
  • Bringing and executing fresh ideas for social campaigns
  • Creating compelling effective, on-brand copy to collaboratively arrive at creative concept
Prerequisites
To be a highly effective communicator across different channels (digital, print, advertising)
  • Strong command of the English language.
  • Proven experience in social media content creation for a web store.
  • Experience in delivering/executing social media strategy for brands
  • Excellent interpersonal and team skills
  • A strong work ethic and consistency
  • The ability to work independently and oversee interns
  • Knowledge of copywriting, digital imagery and video best practices

A bonus would be:
  • A love for exquisite and comfortable home furnishings
  • Knowledge of technological developments to develop public relations and growth hacking
