The team at The Upcycle Project is  passionate about changing perceptions about waste and making it fun and acceptable. They hope to inspire creativity and boundless imagination while looking at non-recyclable waste in urban homes, through well designed and high utility products that are affordable. They :

• Use waste to design and handcraft products that are both useful and artistic. 
• Use waste for effective, on time and on budget mass production. 
• Use waste to create and not to burden our environment. 

For everyone at The Upcycle Co. results matter. To discover how much of an impact they've had, they recently did a research with the help of a prestigious external body - the Tata Sustainability Group - and were pleased to find out that so far they have: 

• Upcycled 1000kg of non-recyclable waste;
• Saved 1170kgs of carbon emissions in the process.

Roles & Responsibilites
This is a three-month internship opportunity which will culminate into a full-time payroll position once the internship period has ended. Responsibilities include:
  • Managing the portfolio of existing e-commerce marketplaces for the brand
  • Finding, analyzing and listing of products on new platforms
  • Searching for new opportunities for the brand
  • Updation of new products on all platforms
  • Social media management of all platforms
  • Handling specific PR activities
  • Order management and dispatch 
  • Inventory management 
  • Other offline and online marketing activities
Prerequisites
  • Graduates preferred as this will eventually be a full time position
  • Candidate must be highly motivated and driven 
  • Candidate should be extremely efficient and productive
  • Self-initiated 
  • Good organizational skills and an ability to talk and negotiate confidently
  • Has an inclination towards social causes especially environment
Compensation
Monthly stipend, casual dress code, 5 Working Days.
