Background
Haiyya is a grassroots campaigning and consulting organization. It envisions transforming the leadership fabric of India by organizing ordinary citizens to come forward and create campaigns and movements on the issues that matter to them. Their aim is to strengthen democracy and governance through innovative and participatory civic engagement model. It is a community-organizing outfit and has adapted Professor Marshall Ganz's community-organizing framework from Harvard Kennedy School to empower young leaders, campaigners and social change projects. Haiyya drives change through campaigning and leadership development across issues of social-civic-political significance.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Campaign Manager will be responsible to manage and coordinate a climate change project across Delhi.
  • The manager will be responsible to spearhead the project by working with different stakeholders including youth campaigners, civic bodies and government. 

Prerequisites
  • 1-3 years of experience in community organizing and campaigning
  • Experienced campaigner with strong ability to quickly build relationship with key stakeholders
  • Excellent time and project management skills 
  • Ability to be proactive in working in challenging situations than being reactive
  • Experience and expertise to use MS office tools- word and excel and google drive
  • Well versed in both Hindi and English as spoken languages
  • Excellent documentation skills in English

Benefits & Compensation
INR 30,000-40,000 based on experience and skills
