Using offline and online initiatives, OverHear is building a community of music artists and service professionals that vie for projects in a fair, competitive market, built on excellence in service provision and trust between buyer and seller. 

Role & Responsibilities
OverHear is seeking a passionate Community  Manager to help create the music industry ecosystem in India, in which the OverHear online platform is central. 

Roles and Responsibilities include:
  • Onboard and liaise with community members such as artists and music service professionals, to ensure high levels of engagement with the OverHear platform
  • Work closely with the Account manager to match suitable service providers to clients - be the critical link between clients and music service provider
  • Train service professionals and artists, and provide walkthroughs of the OverHear platform, helping them create profiles, and apply for projects
  • Cross-sell OverHear’s range of projects to service professionals
  • Work closely with the account manager on promotion and publicity of events
  • Weekly Subscription KPI reporting to the Regional Manager
  • Work on publicity and marketing initiatives with the Regional Manager

Prerequisites
  • Passionate about the music industry, and you are deeply embedded in artist communities. 
  • Well connected within the entertainment and events industries; prior experience in these industries is a plus
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills - a total non procrastinator or excuse maker
  • Savvy about the latest relevant communication and social media channels, as well as the latest relevant technologies within the live music and entertainment space
  • Able to balance short term gains with an understanding of long term pros and cons
  • Highly organized, with exceptional salesmanship and relationship building skills - you will be the face of OverHear for the community
  • Willing to work in a team, while able to work on initiatives and follow leads autonomously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office ​
