Background
Becoming I Foundation is an internationally recognized youth-led organization that mobilizes young people into engaging with community development issues.

They started the Bangalore Chapter in January 2015, and at present are a group on 110+ volunteers, running 2 Projects – Project Leap and Project Discovery. Through these projects, they aim to teach kids from low income families in various schools.

In Project Discovery, they help the students build up on their academic concepts through the means of activities and experiments carried out in the class, aiming to enable curiosity among students. This would be over and above the theoretical learning they have during their regular classes.

Project Leap takes an interesting turn with a whole bunch of extracurricular activities, helping the kids explore their talents in the field of dance, music, art, sports, public speaking and theatre. They try to provide a wholesome learning and growing environment to children, through a holistic approach.

They derive their energy from their corpus of dedicated volunteers who have an equal say in the design and implementation of every project. Their approach is to design comprehensive modules for each session, by their own team of experts. These are then delivered and executed as our volunteers interact with the students during the weekly sessions.
