Background
The Gig Week is an independent music festival that stages fresh and favoured music across different genres. It has been around since 2011. In its seventh year, The Gig Week has spread to four city editions - Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Hong Kong.
Roles & Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for creating and executing all social media strategies across all existing and new social media platforms. He/she will -
  • Ideate & execute social media campaigns for the festival's 7th iteration - organic + promoted
  •  Work closely with the core team & design team to develop social media strategies + creatives
  • Execute social media deliverables for the festival's partners (in co-ordination with the core team)
  • Work with Facebook Ad Manager, Instagram ads for ROI-driven campaigns - benchmarking, budgeting, TG identification, analytics (Digital Advertising)
  • Manage social media calendar
  • Manage blogger/influencer tie-ups as aligned by PR team
  • Handle customer queries and feedback
  • Generate inbound traffic using SEO
Prerequisites
  •  Should be proactive and should think beyond check-lists
  • Should be active on social media and aware of trends
  • Should be creative and capable of quickly turning a phrase
  • Should be good with planning but also be able to handle a bit of chaos
  • At the least should be musically-inclined
  • Social media, digital marketing, influencer management experience is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Should be based in Mumbai/Delhi/Bangalore and available for short periods of travel to the other cities
