Background
The Apprentice Project (TAP) aims to empowered children to realize their unique potential by productively utilizing the available interest clubs space in schools and using the tools of creative & critical thinking, collaboration, self-reflection, and communication. The project gives kids a chance to learn what they love by connecting them to volunteers who teach what they love.

TAP places high-skilled individuals in under-resourced schools where students pick skills that they would like to learn from one of the four verticals: performance arts, visual arts, sports and cognitive skills, in a classroom environment.

Roles & Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of this role is to support the fundraising team to develop and lead partner- ships and communications with key donors, impact funds, foundations, HNIs and CSR organizations.
The role would involve:
  • Assist the fundraising team in creating strategic partnerships and collaborations with other innovative organizations
  • Implement the strategy on agreed platforms, (eg. – crowd funding, personal appeal letters, in person appeals, fundraising events, etc.)
  • Create pitch presentations, case studies, and audios/videos for showcasing to prospective donors
  • Any other activities required to generate funds and develop partnerships to enable exponential expansion of TAP

Prerequisites
  • The candidate should have had previous exposure to the education sector, however this is not essential
  • The candidate should have prior experience in fundraising, however this is not mandatory
  • The candidate should be comfortable with research
  • The candidate should have strong written and verbal English and communication skills.
  • The candidate should have the ability to handle multiple projects and tasks in an entrepreneurial environment
