Background
The Apprentice Project (TAP) aims to empowered children to realize their unique potential by productively utilizing the available interest clubs space in schools and using the tools of creative & critical thinking, collaboration, self-reflection, and communication. The project gives kids a chance to learn what they love by connecting them to volunteers who teach what they love.

TAP places high-skilled individuals in under-resourced schools where students pick skills that they would like to learn from one of the four verticals: performance arts, visual arts, sports and cognitive skills, in a classroom environment.

Roles & Responsibilities
As TAP's first Apprentice of Operations you will be actively involved in:
  • Visiting the schools where TAP has a presence (different schools on different Saturdays)
  • Co-ordinating student interviews and enable data collation
  • Tracking student and volunteer attendance
  • Ensuring pre-and post-session setups are in place
  • Coordinating with schools and with time, and being involved with the program management
  • Performing primary research involving interviews with external stakeholders (Eg: Community members)
  • Performing and assisting in performing secondary research (Experiential data collation etc)

Prerequisites
The candidate must possess the following skills:
  • Should be able to interact with multiple stakeholders and get systems and processes in place
  • Should be comfortable with traveling to the field(once a week) to supervise Operational set-up
  • Should have good organizational skills and an ability to talk and negotiate confidently
  • Must be highly motivated and driven 
  • Should be extremely efficient and productive
  • Should have an inclination towards social causes especially education
  • Should be self-initiated ​
