Background
Centre for Education and Health Research Organization(CEHRO), founded on 12th March 2012, is a non-profit making autonomous body registered under 1860 Societies Act. It is a social venture formed by the students from NSIT, JAMIA, IIIT  and has evolved into an organisation where the motto is to help anyone with a will to achieve.

CEHRO believes in not letting poverty come in way of success. It strives to make lives better for the impoverished people and the neglected in our society- the migrant laborers and workers involved in other menial jobs, by helping children from these families achieve academically and in extra-curriculars, so that they can build a better future for themselves. It has helped many children realize their dreams and excel to their full potential through its various programs. Their success stories bear testimony to the hard work of all the volunteers and staff involved. The aim is to liberate all children from the existing barriers and facilitate their way to greater heights.

​CEHRO India is working extensively on the development of Munirka Village a community in Delhi, India through after-school learning centres. It believes in student leadership. All its programs are centred towards providing leading roles to children.

Roles & Responsibilites
The major activities in this role are:
  • Facilitating discussions to generate ideas for crowdfunding with a group of children. 
  • Creating a roadmap to implement ideas generated in the discussion. 
  • Manage, organise and create events with the help of children to raise funds. 
  • Create crowdfunding page and manage donor relationship (online and offline). 
  • Reaching out and getting relevant people to help children build skills needed to run the project.

The Project Coordinator will work with Content Developers, a Facilitator and the Project Lead. The Project Coordinator will report to the Project Lead.

Objectives of the Internship;
  • To create a sustainable inflow of funds to run operations of CEHRO's community centers. 
  • To equip students to generate funds through crowdfunding 
  • To create a system that is supported by children for children

Prerequisites
  • Degree or experience in fields related to primary/secondary education and/or
  • Experience in fundraising and/or
  • Experience/Qualification in Design Thinking or Social Design

Compensation & Benefits
  • INR 10,000
  • Free delicious food for the entire duration
