Background
|
Collaborative Research and Dissemination (CORD) is an independent education research group that seeks to articulate the problems of the disadvantaged through field-based research. CORD endeavours to influence policy and public opinion by making its research findings accessible to the public.
The group believes in multidisciplinary and collaborative research and has collaborated with a number of national and international organizations and institutes of repute, both government and non-government. They have also taken an active interest in building research skills of grassroots organizations and research groups. CORD’s research findings have contributed to the civil society movement and advocacy towards better and more meaningful education for the disadvantaged. |
Role & Responsibilities

CORD's currently hiring Research Investigators for fieldwork for their project on "Learning Outcomes and Teacher Effectiveness for Children Facing Multiple Disadvantages, Including those with Disabilities".

Prerequisites
|
CORD researchers are expected to be interested in doing research and dissemination that is oriented towards improving the lives of disadvantaged groups.
|
Compensation
|
Remuneration will be around Rs 12,000/- per month. Field expenses will be covered separately. A higher remuneration may be considered for exceptional candidates.
