Role
The ideal candidate will be able to produce an original and aggregated coverage of the most interesting issues of the day in Indian politics. Must have a record of writing impactful stories, breaking news and interviews with key figures. A familiarity with the key political issues and figures in the states is a must. The ability to write compelling news analysis is a must. 
Prerequisites
The following skills are necessary:
  • The ability to write crisp, engaging and error-free headlines and copy.
  • Attention to detail.
  • An eye for stories and themes that are fun, unique and interesting.
  • An appreciation for the power and dynamics of digital media and social platforms, and the skills to exploit them (prior experience in any form of digital publishing is a plus).
  • The ability to be agile and learn new skills and different ways of doing things.
  • The ability to remain focused and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Application Process
Candidates must be willing to take a writing test. They   sometimes ask for references from past managers. The selection process involves multiple interviews.
