Background
The Apprentice Project (TAP) aims to empowered children to realize their unique potential by productively utilizing the available interest clubs space in schools and using the tools of creative & critical thinking, collaboration, self-reflection, and communication. The project gives kids a chance to learn what they love by connecting them to volunteers who teach what they love.

TAP places high-skilled individuals in under-resourced schools where students pick skills that they would like to learn from one of the four verticals: performance arts, visual arts, sports and cognitive skills, in a classroom environment.

Roles & Responsibilities
As TAP's first Apprentice of Social Media you will be actively involved in:
  • Creating engaging blog and social media content
  • Visiting schools to collect interesting content
  • Handling social media market research activities
  • Increasing flow to TAP social media pages
  • Creating strategies for volunteer engagement using social media platforms
  • Strategizing social media strategies to increase visibility and program awareness

Prerequisites
The candidate should possess the below mentioned skills:
  • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
  • Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in social media
  • Has exceptional writing and editing skills. 
  • Should possess the ability to go on field (once a week) and collect relevant stories
  • Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
  • Enjoys a working knowledge of the blogging ecosystem relevant to the company’s field.
  • Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format.
