Background
TIME is a global multimedia brand with an audience of more than 70 million worldwide, including TIME magazine, TIME.com and other TIME digital platforms. TIME.com draws more than 50 million unique visitors a month and leads the mobile app space with more than 6 million total app downloads across all mobile platforms. TIME has more than 19 million social media followers on various social media platforms. 
Roles & Responsibilites
Fellows will immediately become part of the team, pitching and writing daily news stories for TIME.com and helping to run TIME's social media accounts. There are also opportunities to report and write longer features for the website and magazine.
Prerequisites
  • Internship experience and/or bylined clips from a major English-language news organization
  • Demonstrated interest in Asia and/or fluency in an Asian language
  • Familiarity with U.S. and international popular culture.
  • Detailed appreciation of social media as a news reporting and dissemination tool.
Compensation & Benefits
Fellows are paid $8,100 HKD (about $1,000 USD) per month. Travel or living expenses are not covered.
