Background
Rajiv Gandhi Foundation (RGF) is a not-for-profit organization, established to realize the vision of Shri Rajiv Gandhi, former Prime Minister of India. Since its inception in 1991, the Foundation has been working on a number of important issues including education, disability, libraries and natural resource management. ​

Role & Responsibilities
The Team Lead-Programs is an exciting mid-management position with tremendous growth opportunities. The Team Lead will have a critical role in managing the Foundation’s key programs. She/he would be responsible for developing strategy, planning and overall management of the flagship programs, under the guidance of Director-Programs. This will include:
  • Program strategy development: Carry out secondary and primary research to design strategy and develop detailed time bound plans and budgets 
  • Budget Planning and Management: Develop activity linked program budgets and manage expenditure effectively
  • Program Operations and Quality: Ensure smooth execution of the programs which includes developing quantitative and qualitative program deliverable, identifying beneficiaries, organizing events, monitoring progress and undertaking documentation 
  • Managing Partnerships: Scrutinize proposals, handhold partners in program planning, develop customized M&E framework for each partner including key deliverables, timelines, performance measures etc; manage implementation in accordance with agreed outputs and outcomes; and coordinate with partners on a regular basis
  • Fundraising: Support in developing concept notes and detailed proposals for fundraising
  • Team Management: Set performance objectives for team members and support them in achieving the same; manage their training and career development needs
  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with key stakeholders including partner NGOs, state governments, associations etc. 

Prerequisites
  •  A Post Graduate degree preferably in management/rural management/ social work
  •  6-8 years of work experience in the development sector
  •  Experience in designing and managing programs
  •  Passionate and result oriented with high levels of motivation and leadership
  •  Excellent writing and communication skills
  •  Extremely good knowledge of computers
