Background
ShoeBox Labs believes education should foster the ability to think, to be curious and to be creative. To this end, the organisation is aiming to set up a state of the art facility bringing together play (the physical world), collaboration (the social world) and technology (the digital world) into one space where tinkerers will be seen working with wood, drills, laser cutters and 3-D printers, discussing ideas, arguing out methods and debating options, exploring and developing physical and digital technology to create, iterate and invent.

ShoeBox Labs is looking for super enthusiastic winter interns who think out of the box and are willing to push themselves to explore new things constantly. The organisation needs creative people who can juggle multiple tasks, don’t need a desk to feel productive, and can basically figure out whatever it takes to get the job done! Importantly, they are looking for people who can ask interesting questions, are willing to roll up their sleeves to answer them, and have a lot of fun while doing it.

Interns are needed to help with the end-to-end of planning and executing an upcoming ShoeBox Labs project. This includes getting your hands dirty with one or all of the areas listed below:
  • Research and Experimentation
  • Social Media and Communications
  • Content Development
  • Facilitation
  • Logistics

When, where and for how long?
You will be working full time out of the organisation's office in Chittaranjan Park, New Delhi. ShoeBox Labs is looking for two full time interns for a period of at least 4-12 weeks (negotiable) starting as soon as possible!

Oh! Did we mention the office has an endless supply of great coffee?!
Prerequisites
  • It is an added advantage if the candidate have working knowledge of any design software or programming languages (this is not a requirement and will not be considered against the candidate)
